I am suspecting this may not work when using a bluetooth keyboard, I haven't tried it though becuse I do not have an Apple Magic Keyboard. The same can be done using a Mac keyboard but by pressing and holding Command + R keys while pressing and holding the power button. choose Install MacOS option from the MacOS utilities dialog and follow the prompts.Make sure you’re working with the right keyboard layout. Click the Input menu bar icon and choose Show Keyboard Viewer. Select the option to Show Input menu in the menu bar. Exit Disk Utility once formating is completed. Here’s how you can check it: Go to the Apple menu > System Preferences. Erase (i.e.) format the disk using Disk Utility option from MacOS utilities dialog.Step 2: Keep holding these buttons until your MacBook Pro restarts. Step three press the Power Button (Eject): While holding down the Command + Control keys, press the Power Button (Eject) to restart your Mac. Step 1: Press and hold the Command + Control + Power buttons on your keyboard. Step two hold down the Command and Control Keys: Next, hold down the Command + Control keys on your keyboard. while simulatenouly pressing and holding Windows key + R key on windows keyboard, press and hold the Power button on Mac Mini until MacOS utilities dialog appears. This will bring up the Shut Down dialog box.Here's what I had to do restore it to factory settings: While it turned out to be a simple process, I didn't know exactly how to go about it initially since I was using a USB Windows keyboard. Before returning the Apple Mac Mini with Apple M1 Chip (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD Storage) to exchange for Apple Mac Mini with Apple M1 Chip (8GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage), I had to reset it to factory settings.
